This and lots of other interesting science facts, you will learn in this beautiful program. After taking the Science Diver course, every dive will be a new challenge, and the reef a playground for nature lovers. Discover the amazing relationships between the organisms that inhabit a fringing reef, learn the Scientific names of the different species and what they mean, and spend 2 dives and a snorkeling tour investigating the different zones of the reef. We are owned and operated by Utila Dive Centre, a world renowned PADI Career Development Centre and National Geographic centre. PADI, the largest diving association in the world, issues diving credentials that are internationally valid. We also recently joined Beautiful Oceans as a Science Dive & Snorkel Center, helping in this way to educate divers on the preservation of our reefs and marine life. PADI Dive Courses
Our full time highly trained PADI instructors provide courses & programs designed to suit your needs. Courses are conducted to the highest international standards set out by PADI and follow strict guidelines in order to provide the best possible service.
The PADI Open Water Diver course is your first step to adventure in the underwater environment. As you advance through the PADI system, you can specialise in various speciality areas such as wreck, deep or drift diving which will not only broaden your enjoyment but will also increase your experience and confidence. Rescue skills can be achieved and developed in the highly acclaimed Rescue Diver course which is strongly recommended for those progressing the PADI programme.
Continuing the adventure is one of the best moves you can make. The PADI Advanced Open Water, PADI Rescue Diver and various PADI Specialty programs have some great benefits. By going beyond Open Water Diver, you can:
- Learn additional skills specific to your interests
- Be more confident in and around the water
- Continue to develop your dive skills
